Cuccaro Club

We stayed for 9 nights. If you like hiking this is the place to go. From the hotel you have multiple routes to chose from. Another good place to hike is cinque terre. You have to drive to the train station (about 40 minutes) and take the train from there to reach cinque terre. This is such a beautiful place to hike. The service is very great. They are give you lots of tips where you can find the best places for your needs. The service was able to speak in Englisch l, French and of course Italian. The hotel is on a mountain and you should be aware to drive if you want to reach any village or city (20 minutes +). The breakfast is very Italian. Very sweet. The dinner is outstanding. The dishes are on point and the self made pasta is from heaven. The desserts are very fine and tasteful. Such a nice an beautiful place to be. Thank you for the impressions you were able to give us.

We stayed at Cuccaro Club for 3 nights and I can only recommend it. The location is a beautiful pine forest on the mountain that provided a refreshing breeze during hot summer days. You can enjoy a huge heated indoor pool and a smaller outside pool to cool off in. Lots of sun-beds and various seating areas to relax in. There are few slides and games for kids inside as well as outside which was appreciated by our almost-four-year-old. One of the best things there is definitely the kitchen. Huge portions and good prices, every day a different menu with lots of genuine dishes to try out. Finally, the staff is friendly and helpful with whatever you might need. The only "problem" for us was the road there as it has loads of turns, so those who get car-sick should take it slow. There is also a road closed so make sure to ask them for correct directions so you don't have to lose time navigating the wrong side of the mountain.

At 2012 summer, I was there for a night. It was little bit far from the city, almost on the top of the mountain but once I got in there, I had a very impressive experience. It's a family run business, room was a bit small but very clean, artistically wall painted with decorations. The food in the restaurant was very good for me and my brother, The young lady who is a daughter of the owner was very kind. The morning buffet was very charming with lots of window lights in the morning, with many home cooked(?) buns and cookies with Italian(!) coffee, I had greatly enjoyed there. Highly recommend for local Italian experience!

Mountains, forest, beautiful hotel, which seems small at the beginning, but hides so many wonderful surprises, incl. relaxing spots for you to rest, and enjoy yourself, huge heated pool, outside pool, places for kids to play... and also romantic spots that you can spend time by simply having a glass of wine. Truly you feel like home there, the family who runs the place is welcoming and treating you like their own. Thank you Tanya!
